Als Sohn eines Fußball-Amateurs und Sportreporters der Bonner Rundschau und Informant für den Ergebnisdienst des deutschsprachigen Programms von Radio Luxemburg in den 60er Jahren, interessiere ich mich relativ wenig bis gar nicht für Fußball. Ausnahmen bildeten da Sammelbilder in Schokoriegeln oder bei einem großen Lebensmitteldiscounter und Trikots, egal ob Vereins- oder Nationalelf-Trikots. Und da ich seit längerem schon eine intensive „Belgische Phase“ durchlebe, musste es ein weiteres belgisches Nationaltrikot sein, mit meinem Vornamen in der Sprache meiner wallonischen Vorfahren. Meinem Perfektionismus ist es dann geschuldet, dass ich unter den Nationalspielern einen Wallonen rauspickte, der auch schon für meinen bundesdeutschen Lieblingsklub (BVB, hervorgegangen aus eine Kolping-Sodalität) spielte, Thomas André A. MEUNIER aus Sainte-Ode, Arrondissement Bastogne, Provinz Luxemburg. Naja, dann brauchte es natürlich auch noch sein Trikot mit der Nummer 15, die passenden Shorts und Stutzen.
